LCD (Liquid-Crystal Display)

LED Emitting Diode

These bulbs are comparatively smaller. But they are more capable with fluorescent bulbs. This means that the LED screen is often more slim than the LCD screen for the same quality pictures.
It consumes less energy and their panels are thin. Compared to the LCD and its more brighter display and its better contrast. LED is of two types. A Direct LED and the second edge-lit LEG.
Direct LED helps in displaying the brightness i.e. illumination and darkness i.e. the darker screen more efficiently.
EdgeLit LEDs are printed with the help of small diodes on the edges of the screen and they are light with direct LED models. In this, cold cathode technique has been used and in this, lid technology is being used in addition to TVs in notebooks, mobile phones, DVD players and video games etc. and its price is slightly higher than LCD.
